The story is average. The draw for me is the visuals, but not the 3D. Characters are textured with maps, old posters, and all sorts of fun paper to look at.The 3D effect is poor from close up, but works from about 5-10 feet. It would be fine to read to a class at story time, but there is only one set of glasses. Also, if you’re reading to a large group, it’s not very easy to look at the detail in the artwork. I wish this book weren’t in 3D.
