When I got this I thought it was junk it did not look beefy enough for my 72 pound bundle of Joy.5/8" is skinny and the clamping system is small and looks weak. However this thing is light and strong; you could just put in your pockets when the dogs running around the park. I must say it took about 1 week to truly appreciate it. no more carrying a big leash around my neck or hands during strolls at the beach or park. Another huge plus is my dog cant tear this thing up; I really cant tell you why but its held its own for some reason. If you like something beefy go for the inch but i thing this size is functional and optimal.I got this leash for my girlfriend's Corgi because she (the dog, not my gf) was jealous of my dog's super styling leash. When it arrived, i showed it to her and she loved it. She immediately asked me to take her for a walk. When we were walking, all of the other dogs in the neighborhood came by to check out her new leash. She pranced around proudly while that irritating boxer down the street looked on jealously. Now, even my dog is bitterly eyeing his step-sister's leash and plotting little tricks on how to make me accidentally put this one on him instead. If you need a dog leash, just buy this one. It's the right length for the little Corgi, or my 55 pound mutt. It's not too thick, not too thin. It's sturdy and tough. *AND* it has bones on it. Why wouldn't you buy it?I've owned this lead for nearly 5 months (I know, I'm slow to post my review) but I can say with confidence that it holds up very well to wear and tear. My dog tends to pull pretty hard so, generally, leashes that have more give are more comfortable for me to walk her (such as leads with a bungee core or the ones with a spool that feed out more line). I say that as an FYI as you're making a decision on what type of lead to buy based on your dog and it's certainly not a knock on this product at all.I would recommend this for anyone buying a lead for a dog that does well with fixed-length leads. This is a very good collar. However, it would be nice if the clasp was a little lighter in weight. Maybe I got a leash that is too big for my 11 pound dog, but it seems to drag sometimes if the leash isn't taught. The leash is very well made and it has a matching collar. My dog looks very stylish with her matching collar and leash.I have a 80lb mutt, this leash works great for her. Most of the time she heels right besides me and I end up having to pick up the slack, but if there's a bird she tears after it and the 6ft give her just enough leash to realize I didn't run with her and for her to stop before it becomes taunt. There have been a couple of times where She's pulled hard trying to get something, and the leash feels solid and I have no fear of it breaking.I bought this leash for my standard poodle puppy who weighs 25 pounds right now. The 5/8 inch works well for his size and I'll order the next size up when he reaches about 30 pounds. My puppy walks well on a leash and doesn't pull, so high strength is not a huge priority for me at the moment. It's holding up very well. I feel this leash could be a little shorter though.Got this leash because it was cheap. It's just the right length and doesn't bother my GSD puppy who would constantly bite on the (heavier) leash I got from petsmart. This leash looks nice and is lightweight BUT The entire leash is fraying (threads coming loose) -- didn't have high expectations considering how cheap it was/is but it's falling apart wayy too quickly (under 2 weeks)... so I'd recommend you get something else a little bit more expensive and save yourself the hassle.I was a bit hesitant to order this leash as I was not sure about the quality. However when it arrived I was very pleasantly surprised. The leash appears to be heavy duty and is standing up very well to my Vizsla pyppy who is a major puller. I would recommend this leash and will likely but another one for my new puppy.I ordered this lead for my new puppy from one supplier and it arrived within a few days. Rogz items are excellent quality and are very strong as both my other dogs have leads and harnesses by Rogz. They are easily adjusted, machine washable and dry very quickly. Great variety of colours and designs. Unfortunately the harness came from a different supplier and took much longer to arrive.Very happy with the lead. Delivered very quickly. Loved the design when I purchased the harness so I had to get the matching lead. The length is very handy when we are walking over the downs and allows him to have a little bit of freedom but I can reign him in when animals are around. I've used it 3 times so far and it seems tough enough for Alfie, the dog, to pull with out me worrying it going to snap.Bought this and matching collar after having similar style for another dog .The lead is a good length and the style and quality is very good. The lead itself is excellent, i was however expecting 6 as advertised not 1.Sturdy construction and attractive design
