Description

Excpanded three CD version of the debut album by Punk legends Slaughter And The Dogs. They supported the Sex Pistols in the summer of 1976, at the very beginning of the Punk revolution, and were one of the first wave of Punk bands. Disc 1 is the 12 track debut LP, originally released in 1978, and containing the singles 'Where Have All The Boot Boys Gone', 'Dame To Blame' and 'Quick Joey Small (Run Joey Run)'. The second disc has 19 non LP cuts including their debut 45 'Cranked Up Really High', plus their contribution to the seminal 'Live At The Roxy' LP, non LP B-sides, the scarce 'It's Alright' EP and studio demos. The final disc is the frantic "Live Slaughter Rabid Dogs" LP, recorded in May 1977. The booklet contains detailed liner notes, pictures of all relevant sleeves plus lots of memorabilia and clippings from the era.

well, as usual captain oi nailed it again, this comes as a tri disc fold out with an awesome booklet inside w/ many liner notes regarding slaughter & the dogs and all recordings across the 3 set package that have been remastered fantastically, I FOR ABOUT 4 DECADES love every song on the doing it doggie style record, i mean songs like WHERE HAVE ALL THE BOOT BOYS GONE, BOSTON BABIES, QUICK JOEY SMALL, DAME TO BLAM & there cover OF THE VU CLASSIC IM WAITING FOR MY MAN are staples to this day from the uk 77 punk explosion, the second disc has all the killer live stuff from the roxy in 77 & some great demos & as well as my favorite on disc #2 SCREAM & SCREAM AGAIN!!!!!!! as well as twist & turn, ufo, its alright & the boston babies demo wich i always liked as well. then on disc #3 you get a great live show ( wich i think i bought on vinyl back in the 80s on link records i still have it someplace in my archives) from 1978 wich has a killer live version of WAITING FOR MY MAN as well as the rest of the show, this is a remastered better cd version of that show so you get all 3 of these fantastic discs in one nice high quality collection, no cheap packaging like some recent releases had.....
