Fits my small dog perfect. And looks really good too. My Pom/Chi Merlin has long legs so this sweater fits him great. Not too long in the sleeves either. I'm very happy I found one and the colors are perfect too. Navy blue almost black with tan. I'd buy again and suggest to others too. Most sweaters don't fit him well or are too small in the back. He's long in the chest and long to the tail. So I measured him for this sweater. I find most sweaters that fit cats will fit him pretty well too. Cat hats too fit him. He's 8lbs. The sleeves do not interfere with him walking.I think it ran a lil snug for my 23lb dog, but very cute sweater.This is a quality sweater that my Mini Schnauzer doesn't fight or flinch in (which means he's comfortable). The problem is that the sizing is all off. My dog is on the large end of the Mini group, and I carefully measured. Every single measurement was just a tad OVER the XL size on the chart, less than an half inch, so figured it would end up fitting perfectly, right? Yet, it is WAY too big. The back, charted as 15.7", is actually 17 inches. The sleeves are a bit pulled on his front legs, meaning a smaller size may be too small. The neck and girth are comfortably slack. The major problem, of course, is that the underside extends to cover the private parts. With the back hanging over his tail at 17 inches, this means my dog cannot wear the sweater outside at all.I'm keeping the sweater since it is perfect for indoor use...my pup is elderly and is constantly cold in the winter. I've ordered the next size down, but I have a feeling it, too, will be too large. If so, it will be returned for an exchange unless I can figure a way to alter it for outdoor wear. So sad that such a fine product can't get sizing correct. I have a feeling that by the time I get the sizing right, it will be spring!Added Note one day after original review: Normally I would not review a product that I have not used awhile. In the case of this sweater, I would have washed it at least twice before reviewing. Since the sizing chart is so terribly off, I thought I should warn everyone. I will I think the Medium is likely to fit my dog fine, but if a customer can not rely on a sizing chart (and ALL of the sweaters for small dogs have weird sizing charts), a customer can not rely on the product.Also, look very carefully at the photo of the model dog. This is NOT a real dog. You can best detect this in the photo showing the rear of his head. The reason that is important to me is because I have my doubts that any of these sweaters fit as perfectly as they appear to fit on a fake dog. There's something to be said for the need to use a canine mannequin.Got this for my little man to wear for Christmas, and I really love it. It's super cute, and so soft! The fit is exactly right if you use the size chart. (USE THE SIZE CHART!) My chi has such a skinny neck that I was excited to see this had a much smaller neck, but it's so stretchy, it still slid down a bit around his shoulders. This sweater is also cut high enough on the tummy that he doesn't pee on it when he goes outside. One of my favorites among the clothes I've bought for him.My dog looks so cute an so snuggly warmShe loves it. Fits perfectly. I'm ordering another one. Materials thicker then, other brands I've bought in the past. I highly recommend.Put on my doggie when the weather is a bit cooler.I know I purchased this sweater a few years ago but I guess I forgot to write a review.Well today (DEC 30, 2021) my fur baby is wearing it. It has lasted this long. I also purchased others and they all seem to last.She doesn't mind wearing them as long as she is up and around.
