A Boy and His Dog is a sweet story about a close friendship between a boy and his dog. This book is the perfect example of Dog being mans best friend. It really fits the saying. The two of them are loyal to each other and show unconditional love. It was sweet watching their adventure for that day, only to start it all over the next day. My boys absolutely adore our dog. She will wake them up each morning doing her chewbacca howl because she wants to go outside. They give her hugs and let her out. Then they feed her when she comes back. It’s funny how dogs now exactly what your feeling and just what you need. She normally follows me or my boys around the house. She has to be laying by someone one. Doesn’t matter where it is. She just has to follow. This book brought back memories of my oldest growing up with the dog.
