"White Dog", the music score by Ennio Morricone, is a keeper of a soundtrack, not to mention rare indeed. I love this music, it's fascinating, simple, and emotionally effective.Yes, this disc comes with a great booklet, which is very informative, with a bit of biographical information about the man who wrote the score to Eastwood's "A Fistful of Dollars." But, to me, "White Dog" is the better music. This was a difficult film for anyone to score, and Morricone seems to get right within the psychology of the characters and the white dog of the title. Chilling and moving.The sound of the CD is superb. I love listening to it through the stereo. A definite keeper if you are into collecting rare movie and film scores.
