This is the perfect dog shirt for a Florida dog. It is light weight but thick enough to keep your dog warm. Both of my dogs are seniors, so they have a tendency to get cold easier than when they were younger. He will even keep the hood on, the only complaint I have is that there is no hole to hook up a leash when the hood is up. I will be sewing the largest button hole possible to make this happen! We live in an area where we are always on leash when outside, so I think this is important, but not a deal breaker since I have a sewing machine. It really is thick and warm. The one on the right is in a large, if it didn’t have any stretch it would have been too tight. He is about 60lbs. The guy on the left in the blue is about 70 lbs and he has a extra large on which left him some wiggle room but he doesn’t like things tight so it works out.
