The Rogz collars are very nice, soft, durable, attractive and the buckle is very secure. That said, the sizes are WAY off...beware. I ordered a med-large and I received a (smallish) medium...the paper label on the collar was marked "medium" not med-large and the inch measurement was much different that the page described. It worked out okay for us because both of my dogs needed new collars so I ordered one at time in order to check out the quality. I ended up using the smaller one for my 50lb dog and ordered an extra large for my slightly larger dog around 65lbs.When I ordered this collar I was a wondering how the plastic connections would hold up with a 90 pound golden retriever pulling on it. It meet all I expected of it, and more! Molly (my dog) had been using a little wider nylon collar since I got her, but this one is much softer, but strong! I had order another before this one, but it was narrower, and not quite long enough. Seeing the quality, I reordered this one, and donated the other one to the local humane society. So some lucky dog is going to have a great collar, and hopefully will find a wonderful home. I plan on getting one of these collars whenever this one needs replacing. Order one of these with confidence, you won't be disappointed!I didn't purchase this item for a dog, but rather for me to wear. Yes, I know. Weirdo. But, it is part of a costume I am getting together for Halloween and the color goes well with it. I have tried it on, and while it is a little itchy, it fits well. I guess a dog would love it. Heh. Not the review you were expecting, but hey, Amazon asked for it. =^_^=Good and sturdy collar. However, the catch on the collar can be difficult to put through the metal loop, which has to be done in order to close the latch. There is also a little button that locks the collar to prevent it from 'unlatching'. Which is a good feature, but can be difficult for older (or younger, I would assume) fingers to work.The collar looks great when it comes brand new. My main gripe is that the quality is a little lacking... my dog scratches his neck occasionally and the designs have ended up fraying and tearing apart. There's loose thread in random places and most of the paw designs don't even look like paws anymore. The good thing is that the collar stays on at all times and won't get frayed to the point that it gets torn off. It's mainly the designs on the collar that don't hold up very well.used it on my english mastiff with room to expand. it's hard to find a big enough collar for him. i don't know about durability as i'd only have it for a month or so.. , and i don't use leash so i wouldn't know about the strength.. but it seems good.I love the Rogz dog collars!!! My lab is eight years old now and he has always had a Rogz collar. My favorite is the Paws on Blue design...he has the matching leash too! I decided to buy him a new one as his first collar was getting old looking, still worked and everything. At the pet stores here in BC they are anywhere from $25 to $30 so when I found it on Amazon for only $8 I decided to order it. I would high recommend Rogz products to anyone...awesome collar:)I was disappointed that the colors of the red bone collar I received were drab and not as bright as shown in the picture online. It's a very sturdy, well made collar. After reading the reviews, I was surprised the med-large was actually much larger than I thought it would be, so my pup will have to grow into it. I'm only giving it 3 stars because I really am disappointed in the color.Our male dog has managed to munch his way through 3 harnesses and two collars, this was bought for his sister but he is now wearing it and, so far, apart from everyone thinking he is a girl he hasn't chewed it at all. I still put a harness on for when we are walking, but this is the first collar he has been happy with, so I will get him another one in a more masculine colour!I bought this collar for my CKCS dog, and I love it. The length is exactly as it says and it is easily adjustable and does not come loose too easily. It is perfect for walking on the lead, as it is not so thin as to cut into my dog's neck.Overall, I can't fault it. It cleans easily, it is adjustable and it looks nice as well as being practical.I love these collars, their strong, durable and in larger sizes they have the advantage that they can be locked. I've been using these collars for a good few years and found they dry quickly in comparison to other makes I've tried, and also keep their colour well, with little fading ever experienced.Fantastic collars, very well made. Bought as a replacement for exact same collar which was 6 years old, still strong but a little faded. I will highly recommend these collars and will always buy them!We bought this collar because the semi-circular ring for the lead attachment on the identical one we already had kept twisting round. Unfortunately although I really like the collar, it has the same problem.
