Wow, considering this is a rom-com(I think), I never expected i'd cry at any point during the movie. I teared up quite a few times, but that ending got my cheeks soaked. You can watch this movie two ways: as just a romcom and enjoy it for face value, or you can look past the surface at all the emotional issues it touches on. it's a much deeper movie than you are led to believe it is, it just takes an open mind to see it's inner beauty. On another note, I LOVED Ryan Kwanten and hope his career skyrockets. aside from some of the absurdity in the script(in the park trying to see who the dog would choose) he pulled off his role in a very believable way imho. And Alicia Silverstone, while not giving the same quality performance as Ryan(which is kind of understandable seeing as she had more to handle than just her role) feels like a totally new actress compared to her earlier career. I almost didn't watch this simple because she was a lead role, and i'm glad I went ahead and gave it a chance. I really enjoy this new direction for her career... the funny, yet charming and relatable.I'll be watching this one again, maybe even multiple times.
