The price was reasonable and shipping was only a couple of days.Our pup does something with these bones than she does with anything else - when you give them to her she is so happy she cries. She will then sometimes carry them around for days before she eventually eats them - once she starts it goes very quickly.Don't know what makes these so different but she loves them, we have been giving them to her for years.Ordered beforeXOXOXOXOXOXO!!!!!!I assume it has a good flavor as our dog really really likes getting these. she shows her exuberant joy each time I give one of these. I just wish dog treat manufactures would not use glycerine.It has no scent so I don't mind providing it to her, some other products still]k, not this one.Most days at around 1pm in my household, we ask our dog, “what time is it?” We watch her go to her special spot and wait for one of these bones. She gets so excited but waits patiently. On days we don’t notice the time, she reminds us. Doesn’t matter what we are doing, she will nudge one of us, make her presence known, and then go lay in her spot waiting. She knows it’s 1pm and that is snacky bone time! She has us trained and I cannot be without these or I will be in big trouble! That said, I buy the two-pack and one time I received a shipment with one bag. A quick call to Amazon resolved the issue quickly. I believe these are one of my dog’s favorite things and giving her these makes her like me more!These bones have made a big difference in my dogs teeth. Since my girls are getting older, I prefer not to take them to the vet for teeth cleanings as it's too dangerous for them to be anesthetized at their age. I also try to brush their teeth using dog toothpaste on the occasions they will let me do that. These bones are not cheap so I am a bit annoyed I only get 23 bones per bag most of the time when it says on the bag and in the ad there should be 24 bones in a bag. This only came to my attention because I have 2 dogs so feed 2 bones per day and I'd end up with 1 bone in the bag??? In order to know if I was being shorted or if they were giving me one extra, I had to start counting every bag I get and that's how I figured out they do indeed short me 1 bone per bag quite often. I feed these bones daily, every single day of the year - that's 730 bones per year - that's a lot of money when they cost appx 80 cents apiece, almost $600 per year in Checkups!!! I'd sure be a lot happier if the Checkups company wasn't ripping me off. Change your ads and bags so they don't say you get 24 bones - correctly state the bags have 23 bones or maybe sell them by weight. No one likes getting short changed. It's not like there aren't others to choose from.....Check-Ups dental chews for dogs really do the trick keeping your dog's teeth clean and healthy. They are pretty pricy though, especially if you have a large dog which requires a whole "bone" daily. With my smaller dog, I half them so the bag lasts twice as long. The survey asked about the taste and obviously I don't know personally except to say my dog LOVES them.
