I waited awhile to review this product so as to see what it was really like. If I could give it more than 5 stars I would. The directions were pretty easy and with a home made trencher installation was a breeze. To cross the wires to run to the house I used a standard electric drill and it worked quite well with very few kinks. It took my dog about a month to get used to it and now its nice to let him roam about all he wants. He will only get within about 20 feet of the boundaries now and a lot of the time I forget to put the collar on him and he still stays in the yard. I wished I had put it in 10 years agoIT's compatible! Put the battery in and instant beep when we tested. I was concerned at first when there was no light, but then read the instructions... lights only when battery is low...The collar is compatible with our Invisible Fence System at a much lower price than the original.Works great so far! Installed 1000 ft. of wire in 6 hours and seems to hold up great due to the thickness of the wire! We had a problem with the transmitter breaking but they shipped us out a new one and we received it within 2 days. Collar is great and we have 2 of them which are both easy to turn on and off and to change the correction levels.I received the collar in very minimal packaging with no instructions, which had me wondering if I put the battery in correctly... There is no indication of which way the battery goes in and there is nothing to tell you if the collar is working. Unlike other collars there is no adjusting how the collar responds to receiving a wire signal, so I'm not even sure if it worked. I've checked my transmitter to make sure it's putting out the right frequency and I've tried the battery both ways, walking around my yard boundary holding both terminals and listening with no results. Now I'm stuck with $160 collar because I missed the 30 day return policy trying to get it to work.So far works like our other dog’s collar. No complaintsThey don’t last long for the money, but have to use them :(The pictures I have attached speck for themselves. This collar is used and the company sold as "New," which is true. Also if you look at the box their are two different labels all with different numbers that do not match the collar. I checked with perimeter and this collar works with a 10K system not a 7K system as advertised.
