9/20/22 -- UPDATEBought this in the beginning of July. It's now latter September. It's holding up great. Still in brand-new condition. My dog, Jude, likes it. He sleeps in it every night. I saw some pictures on other reviews of other dogs destroying theirs with normal dog behavior, but I don't know if it's because my dog is small or what, I mean, the appropriate smallness for this crate, which isn't too big for him but just right, but I've had no problems with any of that. Like I said, my crate still looks good as new and it's been used 8 hours a day every day since I got it as my dog sleeps in there at night when I'm sleeping, which I had to start doing because, for whatever reason, after years of being housebroken, he started wetting on the floor at night, and that's with me getting up a couple of times a night to let him out. The vet said that he thought that it was anxiety, that he, for whatever reason, started getting anxious at night when everyone sleeps and that's what causing it. Now that he sleeps in this crate right next to the bed, that's stopped. He doesn't wet inside the kennel. During the day, he has no issues, maybe because there are always people up and around-- I don't know. But anyway, the crate has been a godsend.7/2022 - Original EntryFIRST, let's talk about "antique white":I was a bit apprehensive about the "antique white" being too not white, especially because of some pictures showing a very off-white hue, but it was prime, so I thought I'd give it a shot and return it if that was the case. That wasn't the case. It's white. My mom's bedroom furniture is all white, and not all the same brand, her headboard and dresser being one brand, her chest of drawers being another brand, and her bookshelf being another brand, so a generic enough white that it all matches, and this matches them perfectly. If you looked at everything, you'd swear it's all the same brand, especially since all her stuff is in a shaker style and the style of this is extremely consistent with that.NOW FOR THE MAIN SKINNY!It is UNBELIEVABLE how easy it is to put together. When it came flatpack, I was all, "UGH!" I mean, I knew it would, but flatpack is so daunting I still felt that dread. It was totally undeserved. This has to be the easiest flat pack thing I've ever put together.I still hadn't realized that when I was stacking up all the pieces--six, I believe--but then I realized it requires zero tools and is completely assembled by just putting the pieces together and screwing in only 8 white, nylon screws with nothing but your forefinger and your thumb. And it's not some wimpy piece of furniture, either. It's SUPER STRONG, and it's light. That's because, unlike most flatpack furniture, it's not made with any wood. The entire thing is PVC, a lightweight, very hard, very strong, very durable kind of plastic. BUT YOU WOULDN'T KNOW IT'S NOT WOOD BUT PVC EVER BY LOOKING AT IT OR EVEN REALLY BY FEELING IT!!! And it being PVC instead of wood is a VERY GOOD THING, because a dog can scratch wood, gnaw wood, and ruin wood, especially if it's just particle board, like what flatpack furniture usually is, but PVC, there's pretty much nothing a dog can do to it to deface it because it's claw- and gnaw-proof, never mind moisture proof, i.e., no warping or swelling of particle board should your dog have an accident in it.All in all, it's a beautiful piece of furniture, all in its own right as an end table or bedside table and not just on some curve in comparison to having some ugly old dog crate in the room, something that's become a necessity as our westiedoodle, now age 14, has started peeing on the rug at night. He was housebroken by way of crate-training when he was a puppy, but hasn't needed a crate ever since. During the day, he has no accidents, even on those rare occasions no one's home to let him out for 7 or 8 hours, but over night, quite often we come out to find he's peed on the floor, sometimes on the tile but sometimes on the rub, which making a point of getting up and letting him out a couple times during the night failed to curtail at all, like we've let him out, seen him pee, have him come back and tap on the glass, let him in, and then turned around and found he's left a puddle on the floor 15 minutes or half an hour later. So our only recourse is to kennel him at night while we sleep with the hope that we can either rehousebreak him for nighttime, or as a permanent solution involving puppy pads if he's, for whatever reason, becoming incontinent at night.Though I've tried, words fall short of being able to express how EXTREMELY PLEASED I am with this!!! In every single aspect-- price, color, assembly, appearance, functionality, EVERYTHING!!!Pretty cheap quality but I wasn’t expecting too much for $100 anyways. The instructions to set up are not very clear so it took me awhile, until it finally clicked in my brain what I was suppose to do. As for the size, we got a medium for our French bulldogs. The one pictured is 22 pounds and I’d say a medium sized dog, I think the kennel is perfect size for him. I wish it was a little longer because he loves to stretch all the way out sometimes. In conclusion, if you’re looking for something super durable, or easy to travel with, this kennel is NOT for you. My dogs are really only left home for maybe 30 minutes a day (not even), and we have to start kenneling them because if we don’t they tear apart our house so this is going to work perfect for us for the short amount of time they will need it. Also an extra bonus is the doors can swing either direction so while you’re home you can leave it open without the door sticking out, which I was super excited to find out. It's cheap... you get what you pay for. The first one I got had dried up glue that dripped out of every seam, scratched up, and the floor had gaps on the left and right sides. I contacted the seller and after some time, they sent me another one at no cost. 2nd one had no scratches or dried glue but the floor panel still doesn't reach all sides (half inch on the left and right, back and front fit fine). It's fairly cheaply made but looks OK. If you have a dog that doesn't like to be in the crate DON'T buy this! They'll break out. If your dog is passive, it's an ok option. Plus the sellers do try and make it right if you have an issue.I loved how easy this was to assemble and for half of my dogs, this crate has been great and looks wonderful. I really like the color too. However, this crate is NOT for dogs who have separation anxiety as they can chew through it and scratch it. It is also not one I would recommend for puppies that like to chew anything near their crate/chew out of their crate. The only other things I don’t like is the gap along all four sides of the floor (food, toy pieces, hair, etc all gets trapped in there and the only way to get it out is to lift out the floor panel) and the door doesn’t have a stopper to keep it from swinging all the way inside so it makes latching it a bit of a nuisance. However, the second part is easily fixed with cheap hardware from the store.I’ve purchased 3 of these in total. Not because they broke or anything but because they are just such great quality for my small breed dogs. The flooring inside isn’t had and it’s easy to put a mat or rug inside for them.I purchased one in 2017,2021 and this year 2022. The color I purchased was the grey because it matches the color scheme of my home.My dogs love it.It doesn’t collect crap either. Anything like dirt or grass will end up on the floor underneath the crate. It was super easy to put together as well. I’ve dragged it across our floors with no scratches and no screws or damage to the crate.I highly recommend if you don’t just want a wire crate sitting in your beautiful living room or wherever your dog will be.Purchased this in hopes to create a better habit for my pup and accidents in the wee hours of the night- have been using this for about 2 weeks now, just from bed time till wake up and happy to report! Problem resolved. I will also be purchasing a second one of these as a gift for someone too.Nice dog kennel, lock system and door could use some work. Should have a door stop in place to stop the door from going into the kennel. Within one week the door lock was broke, no way to get replacement parts. Other than that kennel works well !Amazing crate. Great quality. This is plastic and very lightweight. Easy to assemble. Definitely recommend!Dogs night time hotel sorted! ?It’s really easy to assemble. Looks fantastic but it’s easy to chew if your dog is a chewer. My dog has separation anxiety. So I’m now looking for something I can fix the bar back in to place with.Fabulous! My dog loves it...so easy to put her in there when workmen or visitors call. Even better that it's plastic so won't deteriorate or rotEasy to build, didn’t realise was plasticWe purchased the item base on reviews. Seemed decent price was a little steep but was suitable for what we were looking for.Once we received the item we realized it was made out of cheap plastic and definitely did not looked like a piece should for $150. We check all the items we purchase from Amazon to ensure the return policy includes free returns. We requested a refund went to take it to the post office and found out we needed to pay shipping. The total for shipping the return was $50.
