Ellie is a large. She is around 23lbs and it fits perfectly.I wanted it a little bit bigger so she would be comfortable. I followed the measurements provided and it worked. Seems to be holding up ok for walks outside in the cold and she looks super cute in it.Alright let's face it, my dog looks miserable here, but he's gotten used to it since! He is about 40 lbs. (but he is short) and his body is around the size of a Golden Retriever or small-ish German Shepherd, I got the XL and it's slightly baggy, but I think the L would have been a bit too snug for him. So if you have a larger dog, maybe go for the XL. It's soft, fits nicely, kind of stretchy, is long enough to cover his behind, and cut decently at the belly so he doesn't "splash" on himself when he does his business. I love this sweater, it's perfect!I followed the measuring guide to select the correct size for my 11 month old frenchie. He loves wearing it - it’s soft and stretchy. Honestly there is nothing I would change about this sweater. The design and fit were PERFECT which is sometimes difficult when you have a frenchie with a huge neck and chest and short body lol. Thanks for making this!! I wish there were a lot more colors, I’d buy a ton! FYI I bought a size Large for my 24lb dog - neck 16” chest 24” length 15” ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Quality is great. Doesn’t feel cheap and has survived it’s first wash and still looks brand new. Most importantly; it fits our chubby old lady, Doris, perfectly. (Bassett: large breed, tiny legs) We have ordered sweaters from other vendors and the sizes are always terrible. This is true to size and we’re very happy with this purchase.Excellent sweater knit in every way. It is soft, thick and will keep your pupster warm in the Fall and Winter months.
